My cousins house caught fire last week. Your video game console and left the fire, but smothered in black smoke. Therefore, they are likely to cause damage, or is clear. By the way, if it helps, I had a Wii with Mario Kart Wii on it and the wheel

Smoke, ash, dust, animal hair .. They all eventually make their way in most electronic devices. It would be better to ensure, that the area, and the device itself before being drawn to the clean to prevent more dirt into the system.
